Options for a plastic/acrylic material to protect walls from damage below chair rail at a business
l run a pediatric practice and need to protect the bottom 3-4 feet of the
walls from damage from chairs, shoes, and general kid stuff. l am trying
to keep cost down as plexiglass is about $30-$70 for a 4-6 foot section,
and l need much more than that. It would notneed to be too thick in
nature, but somethign to easily wipe clean. Thanks!!!
You can use FRP, or Fiber Reinforced Plastic. It comes in
sheets that are adheared with FRP glue. I have only seen white, but that
doesn't mean you can not get it in colors. We use it on the walls of our
restaurant kitchen and in the bathroom. The stuff is indestructible.
You can use either Waltex, (which is a commercial grade vinyl
wallpaper), or Formica, or they do make a paneling that has an acrylic
outer layer.
Formica Doctor, Formica. It is child proof, cheap and easy to
clean. One of your patients fathers must be a carpenter..
